At Five Elms Primary School, every day is an opportunity to learn, explore, and grow. We are a warm, inclusive community where children are encouraged to reach their full potential and develop a lifelong love of learning.
🏫 The School Day
Our gates open at 8:45am and close at 9:00am.
After this time, children should enter through the main school office, where they will be registered as present by their grown-up.
The school day ends at 3:20pm, following a fun, busy, and inspiring day of learning and discovery!
📚 Learning at Five Elms
We follow the National Curriculum, offering a broad and balanced education for all pupils. Our children enjoy a wide range of subjects including French as our modern foreign language and take part in two PE lessons each week, led by our specialist PE teacher.
Each year group takes part in exciting enrichment activities linked to their learning, designed to make lessons meaningful, memorable, and engaging.

🎵 Enrichment and Experiences
Learning at Five Elms extends far beyond the classroom:
- 🏊 Year 4 pupils take part in swimming lessons.
- 🎺 Years 5 and 6 learn to play a musical instrument, supported by our specialist music teacher.
- 🏕️ Year 6 enjoy an exciting residential trip to Wales, building independence and teamwork skills.
- 🏆 Our year culminates in a prestigious Awards Ceremony at Dagenham & Redbridge Football Club, with guest speakers, performances, and plenty of celebration!
